SEO expert and SEO specialist terms and conditions for using SEO services in India

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all SEO and digital optimization services offered by me, a solo SEO expert (“Service Provider”). By engaging with my services, you (“Client”) agree to these legally binding terms, which apply to all service types including website SEO, local optimization, social media SEO, video SEO, AI-based SEO tools, and content-specific strategies.

Scope of Services

All services provided are detailed at the time of booking or quoting. This may include SEO audits, keyword research, technical site optimization, content enhancements, backlink strategies, AI reporting, and platform-specific improvements (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Google Maps). No one-size-fits-all approach is used all work is customized per client goals.

Service Process & Delivery

Once service begins, I follow a structured process aligned with the latest search engine guidelines. While I work to achieve strong results, SEO is influenced by many external variables including algorithm updates, competition, and user behavior. I do not guarantee specific rankings, keyword placements, or traffic volume. Timeframes provided are estimates and may shift based on technical issues, platform changes, or access delays.

Payment & Refund Policy

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all payments are due upfront. For custom or ongoing work, milestone payments may apply. Due to the digital and strategic nature of my services, no refunds are offered once work has begun. If the client fails to provide access or timely feedback, I am not liable for missed targets or delays.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Supplying accurate business and login details
  • Granting necessary access (CMS, hosting, analytics, etc.)
  • Avoiding backend changes during active SEO work

Failure to do so may result in reduced effectiveness or cancellation without refund.

Confidentiality & Data Security

All client information is treated as confidential. I do not sell, misuse, or retain sensitive access beyond the project duration. Shared materials, credentials, and reports are securely managed and deleted post-service upon request.

Platform Compliance

All services follow ethical SEO practices that comply with:

  • Google Search Central Guidelines
  • Bing Webmaster Guidelines
  • Yahoo Search Policies

No spammy, black-hat, or misleading techniques are used under any circumstance.

Intellectual Property

All reports, research, and SEO frameworks delivered remain the intellectual property of the Service Provider unless otherwise agreed. Clients may use deliverables only for their own business purposes. Reselling or reusing them without permission is not allowed.

Right to Refuse or Terminate

  • I reserve the right to decline or terminate a service at any time if:
  • The project conflicts with ethical, legal, or platform rules
  • The client is abusive, non-responsive, or misuses the service
  • Continued service could risk platform penalties

In such cases, services will stop immediately, and any remaining work or refund is at my discretion.

Indemnity Clause

You agree to hold me harmless from any claims, losses, penalties, damages, or legal fees resulting from your website’s content, technical issues, third-party plugins, or actions taken outside my scope of work. You are solely responsible for your compliance with legal and regulatory policies in your industry.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, downtime, or search engine penalties. My liability shall never exceed the total amount paid for the service.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement shall be governed under the laws of India. All disputes shall be handled exclusively in the jurisdiction of Bengaluru, India. If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain valid and enforceable.
